Australian Masters Disc Golf Incorporated (AMDG) has been established to support, represent and grow disc golf for Masters-aged players across Australia. Created by Masters, for Masters, AMDG exists to build stronger opportunities for players aged 40 and over— whether you’re an established competitor, a returning player, or discovering the sport later in life.
Our core focus is the administration, development and long-term growth of the Aussie Masters event, while also helping to coordinate and promote Masters disc golf events throughout metropolitan, regional and rural Australia. By bringing Masters players together under a dedicated national organisation, we can create a stronger, more connected community and deliver a more consistent, rewarding event experience across the country.
As an incorporated organisation, Australian Masters Disc Golf Incorporated is positioned to achieve far more than would be possible as an informal collective. Incorporation provides the structure and credibility needed to pursue grant funding, establish meaningful sponsorship partnerships, and responsibly manage resources for the long-term benefit of Masters disc golf across Australia.
This stronger foundation allows AMDG to invest directly in the growth and quality of Masters competition—supporting better event infrastructure, enhanced player experiences, improved promotion, and the development of consistent standards for Masters events nationwide. It also enables us to provide practical assistance to clubs, tournament directors and regional organisers who want to host Masters-focused events, helping to expand opportunities for competition beyond the major metropolitan centres.
By bringing together the enthusiasm, experience and resources of the Masters disc golf community, AMDG can advocate more effectively for the needs of older players while creating a sustainable framework for the sport’s continued growth. The result is not simply bigger events, but better organised, more accessible and more rewarding experiences for Masters disc golfers throughout Australia.
